The Next Month Get Something Done

What do you think you can get done in the next month?

30 days. 31 if you need a little extra time.

How much do you think you can get done? Could you lose 5 pounds, 15 pounds? Could you make $1,000 or $10,000? Could you travel to a place you've always wanted to check out? Could you start that business you've always thought of starting? Start writing that book? Train for that half marathon? Film that short movie? Build that shed? Learn to speak that language?

What can you get done in 30 days?

What would you like to get done?

30 days goes by fast. Before we know it September will be here and August will be long gone.

So, what are you going to do?

What are you going to get done in the next 30 days?

What are you going to get done in the next 30 days?

WorkOut PlayList

What workout/sports montage out there is any good, if it doesn't have music?

Well those are all from the 80's, there has to be something more current for a good workout/sports montage song, right?!

Patrick Kane might be able to beat up cab drivers and go wild in limos, but he can also stick handle and his teammates are awesome!

Outwitters: My Latest Addiction

I'm always on the lookout for good apps. Often in conversations with friends, I ask them what apps they are liking right now on their iPhone. My latest iPhone app I've been digging, has been an online game called Outwitters. It's a league based game, so you get to go against players of similar difficulty levels. There are several different leagues and you work your way through as you hopefully get better at the game. You build, move and attack your army using Outwit points. Your primary goal is to destroy your opponents base.

As of the writing of this review, I'm ranked 5th in the Fluffy League... yes THE Fluffy League. Manly I know!

The game offers 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2 play. You can choose to play in the online leagues or against your friends on Gamecenter.

I've really been enjoying the game and I've been slowly converting friends to playing with and against me on it.

You can check out Outwitters in the App Store.

The game is FREE but of course there is in game options to buy game packs (the biggest being $5.99 - which I got mine on sale for $2.99 at the right time!) and it gives you more characters and maps.

The biggest drawbacks in the game would be that it's a newer game and still has a number of bugs. I constantly have to force quit the game and start it again. The worst of it all though is the battery drain. This game sucks a lot of power, so be sure to have a charger close by.

It would be worth downloading the app for FREE and checking it out. Happy Gaming. Matt

*I'm just sharing my own thoughts of the game. I'm in no way connected to the creators of this game.

District Public House: Downtown Chilliwack

At the intersection of Five Corners in downtown Chilliwack is one of the best places for local business. One of the great buildings at that intersection is a historic building that used to once be a bank. The District Public House is a fresh take on local pub fare, offering some of the finest local craft beers, fresh, local grown food and an incredible atmosphere. You'll love visiting and spending time with friends.

Make Something...

I have a lot of projects I'd love to do.Often I have to wait for a green light to do them. I have to wait for someone to say 'Go' before I can do anything but dream. Those projects make up very little of what I want to do, they are only a few. Most of the projects I'd love to do are of my own passion. My own thoughts. My own ideas. It's like I'm waiting for myself to say 'Go'.

I hate that.

I hate that I have to tell myself to go do something.

I have the gear. I have way more gear than I did before, stuff I always wanted to have.

I have the abilities. Heck I have more than I used to.

I have the time.

I have everything I need to do it, but I'm not. Why?

I hate this.

I need to make something or I will go crazy.

I don't care what people think of what I make, yet I don't make it.

I like making stuff, yet I consistently talk myself out of making something.

I don't get it.

It's time to go, I just hope this time I'll listen to myself.
