I Pulled A J'Law

The young and talented Jennifer Lawrence won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical. Her opening comments in her acceptance speech have been ablaze online last night and this morning and I think people need to relax.

When J'Law accepted her award on stage, she awkwardly starts her speech off with 'What does it say? I beat Meryl' and then continues on with a kind acceptance speech. People online, are of course, taking it way too far.

You have a young, fairly new on the scene actress, going up against a legend in show business and she wins, PLUS she's coming on stage after an extremely funny duo of Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig present the nominees and award (see below). Who wouldn't say something awkward that was also meant, or intended to be funny?!? 

I say, keep going J'Law, keep growing a new generation of strong female characters, strong leading ladies and have fun along the way. People will take you way too seriously at times and who cares. Just keep going.
