Some Numbers

Out of curiosity today, I decided to check some numbers. I wanted to see how many videos I have uploaded and how many views there have been. I did a quick overview of the number of different clients I have worked with, the different styles and attempts I made in different videos and the amount of growth I have made over the last 5 years I have been filming and editing.

The main thing I learned from looking over these numbers is that you only get better if you try. You only learn more by engaging what it is you want to learn.

They say it takes 10,000 hours doing something to be an expert. I think I have a 1,000 hours under my belt and that I've got a long way to go, but I was pretty excited about these numbers.

Of the 5 different channels I'm the primary uploader/creator for videos, the 268 videos I have uploaded, I have an ever growing total views of 49, 572.

I'm excited about the future of what I'm involved with and I'd love to see that total number of views for all those videos, be the total number of views for just ONE video.

One day I guess. They are just some numbers, but they do tell a story behind them. They also drive me to want to do more. Not bad for some numbers.
