Another One of Those Moments - Matthew A. Hawkins

A couple of years ago I had the chance to fly up to a mountain behind Mt. Cheam in Chilliwack for a video shoot with Darcy McAlister and Jaz Ghag. It was for a promotional piece for an event called HistoryMaker here in BC. An amazing youth conference for teens wanting to make an impact in their world. The video turned out well, I was completely green around the ears (is that an actual expression?) and was just starting out, but something I totally appreciate about Darcy is he will give you a shot if you have a dream. Thanks Darcy!One of the funniest moments of the trip would have to been trying to land on a windy mountain top and watching Darcy almost rip the handle off the side of the chopper. His knuckles were seriously so white. We had an amazing time up there and I wish we could have spent a whole day filming up there. It was so much fun. It was one of those moments I'll never forget.
